Ceiling repair operations underneath City Hall over I-195 in Fall River to take place over multiple days
FALL RIVER – The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) is announcing that it will be conducting overnight ceiling repair operations underneath City Hall over Interstate 195 eastbound and westbound in Fall River. The work will occur in the eastbound lane on Thursday, January 21, and Friday, January 22, from 8:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. the following morning. The work in the westbound lane will take place on Thursday, January 28, from 8:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. the following morning,
Temporary traffic control management operations will be utilized including police details and various lane and shoulder closures. A minimum of two open travel lanes in each direction will be maintained at all times and ramps and exits will remain open.
Drivers who are traveling through the affected areas should expect delays, reduce speed, and use caution.
All scheduled work is weather dependent and/or may be impacted due to an emergency situation.
