Bristol County, Rhode Island added to Winter Weather Advisory as higher snow totals expected
Our change from record high temperatures to wintry weather will be greater than expected.
According to the National Weather Service, a closer pass of the offshore low pressure will lead to higher snowfall across southern New England than expected.
A Winter Weather Advisory has been extended to Rhode Island and Bristol County after being issued for much of Plymouth County and all of the Cape and the Islands on Saturday.
Slippery roads are expected in the area of the Winter Weather Advisory.
The Advisory ends at 6:00 a.m. on Monday.
The highest amounts of snow are expected to be seen across portions of Southeastern Massachusetts to the Cape/Islands.
Flakes could be seen as late as Monday before 9:00 a.m.
