Bristol County District Attorney’s Office announce suspect in custody in early morning homicide in Fall River
Bristol County District Attorney Thomas Quinn, III has announced that Massachusetts State Police assigned to the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office along with Fall River Police are investigating an early morning stabbing homicide in Fall River.
Fall River Police received a 911 call at approximately 2:15 am this morning. The caller indicated that someone had been stabbed and killed at 57 Chesworth Street in Fall River.
Upon arrival, Fall River Police and EMS located a 53-year-old male with injury to his chest.
The victim was transported to Charlton Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced deceased a short time later.
The DA’s Office stated that a suspect is in custody, but a name was not released.
Due to the active nature of this investigation no further information was released.
