Bristol County District Attorney releases more details, identifies man and woman found dead in home

Bristol County District Attorney Thomas Quinn, III has identified a male and female found deceased inside a Fairhaven home last evening.

The decedents have been identified by the DA as 60-year-old Rafael Pedraza and 51-year-old Brenda Rosario both of Fairhaven.

According to records, the pair is also listed as living in Fall River.

Fairhaven Police and EMS were dispatched to 22 Jameson Street in Fairhaven after 7:00 p.m. for a welfare check at that residence.  Upon arrival police located both decedents deceased inside of the residence.  An initial investigation revealed there were no signs of forced entry. 

Drug paraphernalia along with suspected narcotics were present in the residence.  

The investigation into the deaths is being coordinated by the Massachusetts State Police Detective Unit assigned to the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office along with the Fairhaven Police Department.  Both decedents were transported to the Massachusetts Office of the Chief Medical Examiner pending an autopsy and official cause of death.
