Bristol County District Attorney releases identity of 10th victim in fatal Fall River fire

Bristol County District Attorney Thomas Quinn III has announced the identity of the remaining fatal victim from the July 13th fire at the Gabriel Assisted Living Facility as 70-year-old Halina Lawler. 

Public identification of this victim was previously withheld until next of kin notification was completed.  There are 10 fatalities from this devastating fire. All fatal victims have been publicly identified. 

This fire investigation remains active and ongoing by the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office and State Police assigned to the BCDAO, the Massachusetts State Police Fire and Explosion Investigation Section assigned to the State Fire Marshall’s Office, in conjunction with the Fall River Fire and Police Departments.
