Bristol County DA: Fall River man sentenced to prison after repeatedly stalking, physically threatening, woman
Bristol County District Attorney Thomas Quinn, III has announced that a 44-year-old Fall River man has pled guilty and was sentenced in the Fall River Superior Court on Friday to serve a State Prison sentence of 3 to 4 years followed by 2 years of probation for charges of Stalking/Subsequent Offense and Intimidation of a Witness.
On and between November 1, 2024, and February 23, 2025, Angel Pizarro willfully and maliciously engaged in a pattern of conduct directed at the victim, that involved the defendant calling, texting, and emailing repeatedly over the two-month period. After a dispute, Pizarro began calling the victim incessantly to the point she blocked the defendant’s number. He then resorted to contacting the victim under an App and continued to contact the victim using his own personal email address. Many messages were physically threatening in nature and some suggested that Pizarro was following the victim. He would also drive to the victim’s house, sit outside in his vehicle, and honk the horn. The victim also observed the defendant following her in his vehicle during which time he pulled next to the victim and made a gun gesture towards her with his finger. The victim continued to receive threatening messages after that incident.
“The defendant engaged in a pattern of threatening and harassing conduct that caused victim to fear for her safety. Nobody should have to put up with this very unnerving and threating behavior. The defendant needs to be kept off the street to protect the victim.,” District Attorney Tom Quinn said.
The case was prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Gillian Kirsch.
