Bristol County DA announces name of 42-year-old victim in fatal Fall River assault
Massachusetts State Police detectives assigned to the district attorney’s office, Fall River Police and Homicide Unit prosecutors are actively investigating an assault and fatality, which occurred in the City of Fall River Wednesday morning.
According to the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office, at approximately 4:30 a.m., Fall River Police received a 911 call for two parties with injuries and were dispatched to 490 Dickinson Street in Fall River. When police arrived, they encountered a 55-year-old male with multiple stab wounds to the head and neck and located a female, identified as 42-year-old, Remy Aull, with a single gunshot wound.
Both parties were transported for medical treatment. Aull was transported to Rhode Island Hospital where she was pronounced deceased at approximately 10:15 p.m. Wednesday evening.
The investigation into this matter is active and ongoing. No other information was released.
