Bristol County couple killed in Foxboro crash remembered as loving individuals
The names of two people who died after an afternoon crash on Friday have been announced.
According to police, at approximately 4:40 p.m., the Foxborough Police Department and Fire Department responded to a report of a motor vehicle crash in the area of South Street and Cedar Street.
Motorists at the scene were injured and subsequently transported to area hospitals.
As a result of the motor vehicle crash, two individuals in the same vehicle were pronounced deceased.
The two parties located in a Honda Accord have been identified as 85-year-old Joseph Borrelli and his wife, 81-year-old Carol Borrelli of North Attleboro, MA. Both succumbed to the injuries sustained in the crash.
A man who said he was the son of the couple described his parents as loving individuals.
The operator of the second vehicle, a truck, remained on scene and is cooperating with investigators.
The crash is currently under investigation with the assistance of MSP CARS unit and the Norfolk DA’s Office.
