Bristol County convenience store held up, police looking for two suspects

Police are looking for two suspects in a robbery at a Bristol County convenience store.

According to police, on Wednesday, at approximately 1:22 a.m., Norton Police responded to the Cumberland Farms convenience store at 246 Mansfield Avenue for a reported armed robbery which had just occurred. The clerk at the store reported that she had just been robbed at gun point. She provided a description of the two individuals involved and stated that there was a silver handgun shown during the robbery. Below are the descriptions of each:

Suspect 1 – Athletic build, dark skin toned and approximately 5’ 8”. Black sneakers, black jogger-style pants (logo on left leg, possibly Nike), black long sleeve t-shirt, black gloves and white t-shirt wrapped as a mask. Silver, semi-auto handgun in right hand.

Suspect 2 – Shorter of the two, thinner build, dark skin toned. Black sneakers, black baggy pants, black zip windbreaker-style jacket with hood up, lighter color under shirt, black t-shirt wrapped as a mask, black gloves. Possible left-handed. Uses black backpack with face logo.

The two suspects fled the store on foot, heading south on Mansfield Avenue (Route 140), with an undisclosed amount of cash. Anyone with any information, or area video footage, is asked to contact the Norton Police Detective Division.

    Seems like some of Governor Healy’s ‘newcomers’ are getting an antsy ….not happy with that $600 per month free money.
