Bristol County and Rhode Island 22-year-olds killed in head-on crash; victim’s names released
The names of two men killed in a Thursday morning crash have been released by those who know them.
According to multiple reports, at approximately 4:15 a.m., crews responded to a head-on crash between a Toyota Corolla and a MEGA Disposal garbage truck on Hartford Avenue.
The Carolla, occupied by 22-year-old Devonte Parissi of Central Falls, 22-year-old Kendell Dublin of Taunton and another 22-year-old man, veered into the westbound lane of traffic while traveling east.
Parissi and Dublin died from their injuries. The third 22-year-old is in critical condition.
The man driving the garbage truck was not injured.
According to a GoFundMe fundraiser, Parissi was always there for a god laugh.
“It was never a dull moment with Devonte, always finding a way to make us laugh, with a laugh so contagious that even if it wasn’t funny, you’re still laughing.”
Services for the two men have yet to be announced.
