Braga Bridge sign removal to cause lane closures in Fall River, Somerset
FALL RIVER AND SOMERSET – The Massachusetts Department of Transportation is announcing that it will be removing an overhead sign located on Interstate 195 eastbound on the Braga Bridge over the Taunton River in Fall River and Somerset. The work will take place tonight during overnight hours from 12:00 a.m. to 5:00 a.m. tomorrow morning.
The sign removal operations will require the temporary closure of two right lanes and the breakdown lane on I-195 eastbound.
Standard traffic control management operations will be utilized including the use of a police detail.
Drivers who are traveling through the affected areas should expect delays, reduce speed, and use caution.
All scheduled work is weather dependent and/or may be impacted due to an emergency situation.
