Boston Police announce sudden death of active-duty officer
The Boston Police Department has announced the passing of one of their own.
Active-duty Boston Police Officer Robert J. MacLean has died suddenly.
Officer MacLean was a 16-year veteran of the BPD who served in several different assignments through the course of his career.
In a statement, the department stated how much they will miss their fellow officer.
“Rob will be greatly missed by his friends and colleagues here at the Boston Police Department as we send our heartfelt condolences to his family and loved ones during this tremendously sad and difficult time.”
A cause of death was not released.
