According to Lieutenant Patrick Martin, at approximately 11:15 a.m., on Sunday, the Little Compton Fire Rescue along with a DEM vessel were able to recover the bodies of both missing men.

The victims were located in the nearby area of where they were last seen.

The victims, who are brothers, are identified as 27-year-old Aldino A. Centeio and 31-year-old Valdir A. Centeio, both of Stoughton, MA.

According to reports, one of the brothers fell in the water with the second brother trying to rescue him. A third person tried to rescue the brothers and was brought to shore safe.

The Coast Guard, DEM, Little Compton, and Middletown personnel had searched on Saturday for the men before the search was suspended.
