Authorities searching for man who reportedly fell through ice and and has not surfaced in Wareham
UPDATE: Body discovered of man who disappeared in waters in Wareham
Authorities are searching for a man who may have fallen through the ice this afternoon.
Wareham Public Safety agencies are currently working an ice rescue on a small bog reservoir in the area of 786 County Road, where it is believed a person has fallen through the ice.
Authorities ask for people to avoid the area so responders can work efficiently.
The Plymouth County Dive Team has also been activated.
Divers are currently in the water searching for the reported victim.
Abington and Duxbury personnel are also on scene as part of the dive team.
Providence Canteen is responding to the scene.
The call initially came in at approximate 5:15 p.m.
