Authorities release name and details in fatal Fall River motorcycle crash
The victim’s name in a fatal Fall River motorcycle crash has been released.
According to Captain Barden Castro, at approximately 4:57 p.m. Saturday, Uniform Division officers responded to the 200 block of Rhode Island Ave. for reports of a motor vehicle crash involving a motorcycle. Arriving on scene, officers found multiple people with serious injuries due to a crash involving a SUV and motorcycle.
The motorcycle operator was later declared deceased and the passenger was critically injured, according to police.
The operator of the motorcycle was Edniel Pabon-Fraticelli, 22, of Fall River.
According to the Bristol County DA’s Office, Pabon-Fraticelli was driving the motorcycle at a very high rate of speed when he struck the side of the SUV that was turning onto Orswell Street.
The passenger on the motorcycle, a 21-year-old man, was taken to Rhode Island Hospital.
