Authorities identify 34-year-old Pawtucket woman as victim of domestic homicide as her husband is still on the run

The Pawtucket Police Department can now confirm that the victim in the Domestic Homicide
that occurred on the evening of March 8th on Sterry Street has been identified as 34-year-old Lida Louis, the spouse of the suspect, Oldon Louis.

The investigation has revealed that Oldon Louis has known ties and connections to Haiti and
may attempt to flee the country. Detectives are actively following up on all leads in an effort to
locate and apprehend Oldon Louis. His vehicle was located unoccupied in Providence shortly after the incident.

According to Detective Sergeant Trevor Lefebvre, the Pawtucket Police Department responded to an address on Sterry Street for a reported disturbance.

Upon arrival, officers located Lida Louis, who had sustained multiple stab wounds.

First responders initiated life‑saving measures, and she was transported to a local hospital, where she was later pronounced deceased.
