A Bristol County resident has turned a fantastic 2025 golf season into a dream come true.

26-year-old Davis Chatfield, a professional golfer from Attleboro, turned pro in 2022 after a standout college career at the University of Notre Dame, where he played for the Fighting Irish.

A 2017 graduate of Bishop Feehan High School, Chatfield has been playing on the PGA Tour minor league circuit, the Korn Ferry Tour, where he has earned $810,199 in career winnings across 73 events, according to the PGA.

His breakthrough moment came last week during the first round of the Korn Ferry Tour’s Compliance Solutions Championship at Patriot Golf Club in Owasso, Oklahoma, where he carded a historic 12-under-par 59, the third sub-60 score of the season on the tour.

The performance propelled Chatfield up the Korn Ferry Tour Points List, positioning him to secure his PGA Tour card for the 2026 season, according to an announcement from the Korn Ferry Tour.

Congratulations Davis. We wish you continued success!
