Attleboro man held without bail in Fall River Superior Court concerning shooting of 59-year-old man

The suspect in a shooting which occurred on Oakland Avenue in Attleboro on November 16th has been held without bail.
According to police, after an intensive investigation by Attleboro Police Department Detectives, 33-year-old Jacob Lacourse was located and taken into custody without incident. Investigators were able to track Lacourse to a residence on Dean St. in Attleboro.
He was subsequently transported to the Attleboro Police station to be booked on the warrant previously obtained by investigators for charges related to the shooting.
Lacourse was arraigned Tuesday in Fall River Superior Court on the charges of Assault & Battery with a Dangerous Weapon, Assault and Battery with a Firearm, and Carrying a Firearm without a License.
Over the course of the investigation, detectives developed probable cause to arrest 30-year-old Alexandra Elliott of Attleboro for the charges of Accessory After the Fact and Intimidation of a Witness.
She was arrested on scene along with Lacourse at the Dean Street residence.
The shooting victim, a 59-year-old man, survived his injuries.
Lacourse pled not guilty and has a dangerousness hearing that was initially scheduled today but was moved to February 12th.
