Attendant injured Saturday after woman drives through laundromat
An attendant was injured Saturday after a car crashed through a laundromat.
According to Plainville Police, an elderly woman, 85, was involved in an accident at Bubble King laundromat this morning.
The police stated that the driver accelerated instead of braking as she pulled into the parking space causing her vehicle to jump the curb and crash through the front window.
The employee behind the counter was struck by the motor vehicle, but only sustained minor injuries.
The driver of the vehicle was not injured and the employee was transported to the hospital via ambulance.
