At least a dozen vehicles stuck in snow on Bristol County highway within minutes of each other
A Bristol County police department announced that they responded to motorists stuck on a local highway bringing flashbacks to the Blizzard of ’78.
According to police, at 7:07 a.m., officers were assisting tow truck drivers with multiple stranded motorists on Route 140 in Mansfield.
Police responded to a dozen calls for cars stuck in the snow in a 30–60-minute span.
At 8:26 a.m., the department announced that you’re still driving through snowbanks if you try to drive down Route 140.
PD thanked the tow drivers for their quick responses and advised the public to avoid travel.
