Arrest of Fall River man for allegedly brandishing knives, leads to additional charges
Fall River Police arrested a city man on an alleged assault and found more than they were looking for.
According to Detective John Robinson, on February 7th, at approximately 6:30 p.m., FRPD Officers responded to H&B Gas on Robeson Street in response to an assault complaint. FRPD Officer Aaron Souza learned that Mark Wilson, 41, had allegedly brandished 2 knives on the complainants (a Fall River male age 19 and a Fall River female age 22). Officers responded to Wilson’s address, took him into custody, executed a search warrant, and located the knives involved in the incident as well as a firearm, 83 marijuana plants, and ammunition.
Wilson, with a last known address of 645 Cherry Street #2 in Fall River, was charged with Possession of a Firearm w/o F.I.D., Possess Ammunition w/o F.I.D., 2 counts of Assault with a Dangerous Weapon, Possession of 12 or more Marijuana Plants (83 total + 1 pound of Buds), and Firearm violation w/ 2 prior crimes.
