Animal control issues warning after Massachusetts dog owner rescues pet while coyote attempted to break its neck
A Massachusetts Animal Control shared a scary story for pet owners that is also a warning.
According to Everett Animal Control, at approximately 10:00 a.m. Thursday, a large coyote captured a small 15-pound dog and attempted to break its neck several times while attempting to run off with the dog still alive in its mouth.
Thanfully, the owner was able to grab an object and continuously hit the fearless coyote in the head. The coyote still would not release the dog from its mouth shaking it viciously in front of the frantic owner.
The owner then started screaming loudly while hitting the coyote and it was then that his dog was released, and the coyote took off.
Thankfully, the dog survived.
Everett Animal Control asked pet owners to be on alert.
