An additional Fall River company manufacturing PPE during COVID-19 pandemic
Fall River has a rich manufacturing history with much expertise. That continues to be evident during the coronavirus crisis.
Vanson Leather has begun making multiple forms of personal protective equipment and issued an update on their progress.
“Our staff is reduced for the quarantine but that doesn’t mean we stopped! We are working to help the medical field with reusable masks and gowns. Today alone 5,600 washable masks had been cut and are ready to be stitched and shipped to the hospitals in need all over the country!”
Vanson Leathers, who’s headquarters is at 951 Broadway in Fall River, manufactures high quality motorcycle apparel including leather motorcycle jackets, pants, chaps, gloves, and racing suits.
A Vanson jacket was featured in an Alicia Keys’ video late last year.
Vanson adds to the list of Fall River companies manufacturing personal protective equipment since the COVID-19 pandemic began, along with manufacturer’s such as Merrow, Matouk, and Klear Vu Corp.
