UPDATE: Alleged Fall River Fentanyl Trafficker with extensive history, found dangerous
An alleged Fall River Fentanyl Trafficker with an extensive history of drug distribution related offenses was found dangerous by a Fall River District Court Judge on Monday and ordered held without bail for up to 120 days, Bristol County District Attorney Thomas M. Quinn III announced.
Jamie Nobles, 41, is charged with one count of trafficking in Fentanyl in Excess of 36 grams.
The defendant was the target of a search warrant executed by Fall River Police earlier this month. Officers who were surveilling her residence, observed her leave her apartment and place something in the trunk of her roommate’s car before driving away. The car was pulled over a short time later on North Main Street and she was transported back to her apartment where the search warrant was being executed. Inside her bedroom closet, police located 395 small baggies containing a white powder and a separate bag containing about 41 grams of suspected Fentanyl inside a plastic box labeled with her first name.
The dangerousness hearing Monday was prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Kyle McPherson and the dangerousness finding was ruled on By Judge Cynthia Brackett.
“I am very pleased the court found the defendant a danger to the community, which she is. She has a record of drug dealing, including recently being released after serving a four year state prison sentence,” District Attorney Quinn said. “To continue peddling fentanyl demonstrates that she has no regard for the safety of the community.”
