All three Fall River State Reps voted against auditing Massachusetts legislators (themselves)

Even though 72% of Massachusetts voters approved auditing the legislators, all three Fall River State Reps (Alan Silvia, Carole Fiola, and Steven Ouellette) voted against an amendment that would subject the Massachusetts House to audits under the purview of the State Auditor’s office.

125 Democrats voted against the amendment, and 24 Republicans and one Democrat (Michelle Badger of Plymouth) voted in support of it.

Since November, Democrats have resisted attempts be be audited, some even calling it unconstitutional.
