Al Mac’s On The Go in Fall River closing this weekend, to reopen as 5th New York Bagel location

Fall River will soon have the 5th New York Bagel Co. location.

Al Mac’s On The Go has announced that this Sunday will be their last day as they will close for a short period of time to fully transition to New York Bagel Co.

“Announcement will be very soon on our re-open date. We felt it is best to close to do needed repairs and transitions to accommodate this transition. Our amazing staff will be retained and training at our New York Bagel locations.”

City Councilor Cliff Ponte Jr. and Kyle Lima, the owners of New York Bagel Co., are excited to build on the legacy that has been a community staple for over 30 years.

“At our new location at 550 Newton St, Fall River, MA (the Al Mac’s On the Go site), we are considering keeping some favorites on our menu, including Bolos and select specialty items. We will also continue to serve Jim’s Organic coffee along with an eclectic range of other coffee options.”

New York Bagel Company features bagels made from scratch daily, gourmet cream cheese, coffees, espresso, egg sandwiches, deli sandwiches, salads, fruit, bakery, and more.

In addition to Newton Street, New York Bagel Co also has locations at 158 Main Street in Acushnet, 1572 President Avenue in Fall River, 272 State Road in Dartmouth and 1939 Bay Street in Taunton.
