Al Mac’s Diner to branch out with new “on the go” location in Fall River
The popular Al Mac’s Diner will be getting a new sidekick as ownership is looking to try something new.
According to City Council President Cliff Ponte Jr., who has been in business with his father at Al Mac’s Diner since May of 2019, has negotiated to turn the former Tim Hortons site on the side of Papa Gino’s on Newton Street in Fall River into “Al Macs On-the-go”.
Ponte Jr. states that the concept will be to offer many different and unique coffee options, (15+ homemade coffee flavors) along with the Al Mac’s Brew & Al Mac’s Caramel Mocha.
More details will be released as the opening comes closer, according to Ponte.
“Construction will be starting soon and we look forward to opening at some point this spring. We will soon look to hire a manager and team. My Dad will oversee both operations, but he will continue to have a main presence at the Diner.”
