Afternoon highway crash sends victims to New Bedford and Taunton hospitals
A local highway crash sent multiple people to the hospital.
According to the fire department, a crash occurred in the area of 126 Main Street (Route 105) in Lakeville at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday night.
Lakeville Ambulance 3 transported a patient to St Luke’s Hospital and Ambulance 1 transported another to Morton Hospital.
Engine 1 and Car 2 also responded to the accident.
While crews were resetting from the crash response, 2 additional medical emergencies came in sending a Middleborough Ambulance to one scene and Ambulance 1 (from Taunton) to the other. Engine 1 also responded to investigate a report of a resident violating the NO BURN order.
The crash is under investigation.
