After reports of several package thefts, police arrest Massachusetts man with 8 active warrants

A Massachusetts man is facing charges after a string of alleged package thefts.

According to police, over the last week there have been several reports of packages being stolen. Pictures of the suspect had been posted on social media as well.

John Hamm, 42 of Brockton, has been taken into custody after a swift response to a 911 call from the day shift.

Abington Police stated that “Hamm does not just collect other people’s property, he must also collect warrants. On top of the nearly one dozen new charges he is currently facing he also had 8 active warrants for his arrest.”
