Aesthetic lighting system work to take place on Charles Braga Bridge in Fall River, Somerset

FALL RIVER/SOMERSET– The Massachusetts Department of Transportation has announced that it will be performing testing of the newly installed aesthetic lighting system on the Braga Bridge.  

Testing will take place on Tuesday, March 17th, and will continue nightly through Tuesday, March 31.  Testing is anticipated to be completed by Wednesday morning, April 1.  

While the testing will have no direct impact on I-195 traffic, motorists should anticipate aesthetic light testing and possible color changes while driving over the Braga Bridge.     

All scheduled work is weather dependent and/or may be impacted due to an emergency.
