Active member of Massachusetts fire department has died, according to his union
An active member of a Massachusetts fire department has died, according to the union that represents him.
“It is with an extremely heavy heart that we announce the Active Duty Death of Local 1735 member, ALT Christopher Clark. Chris unfortunately passed due to injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident this past weekend”, announced the Dedham Fire Department Union.
Chris began his career with Dedham Fire in 1992 after coming from Hull Fire. A longtime member of Group 2, Engine 3 and this past year was promoted to Acting Lieutenant on Engine 4, Group 4.
The union stated that “we are grateful for all of the knowledge he has passed down throughout his 31 years with DFD” and he “will be greatly missed and we offer our deepest sympathies and positive thoughts to his family and friends in this time of need.”
