Active-duty Framingham firefighter formerly with Fall River Fire Department passes away

A Massachusetts firefighter who served multiple communities, including Fall River, has passed away.

The Framingham Fire Department has announced the death of active-duty member, Firefighter Keith Cashman.

Firefighter Cashman was assigned to Group 3, Station 5, Rescue 1, at the time of his passing. 

Cashman honorably served the fire service for over 15 years, including 10 years of dedicated service to the Framingham Fire Department and the residents of Framingham. 

He was first appointed a firefighter in Fall River on 10/12/2010 before moving on to Framingham on 4/21/2015.

Funeral arrangements are not yet available, and a cause of death was not released.
