Accumulating snow, wind chills in single digits and teens expected across Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut

It is not expected to be the biggest storm southern New England has ever seen, but certainly something residents should be aware of.
According to the National Weather Service, increasing clouds and cold are expected today with highs in the 20s, and wind chill values in the single digits to teens.
A fast-moving clipper system will bring light snow to the region tonight. 1-3 inches are expected across the region with localized spots of 4-5 inches possible in western Massachusetts.

Increasing clouds, with a high near 29. Northeast wind 5 to 7 mph becoming southeast in the afternoon.
Tonight
Snow before 2am, then snow, possibly mixed with rain between 2am and 3am, then rain likely after 3am. Low around 27. Southeast wind 3 to 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible.
Monday
Mostly cloudy, with a high near 40. Light southwest wind increasing to 5 to 9 mph in the morning.
