A sign of warmer weather ahead; Ice cream stands announce opening dates for the season
Ice cream stands in the Fall River area have announced their openings for the season, a sure sign of optimism that warmer weather is on its way.
If you are looking for a cone, a sundae, or even a banana split, there will be several options to choose from.
Somerset Creamery will be opening their Route 6 and County Street locations on Wednesday, March 16th and are looking to hire.
Their spring hours will be: Sunday-Thursday 12 noon until 9:30 pm and Friday and Saturday noon to 10 pm.
Lickety Splits in Westport is looking to open on Thursday March 17th and we have been told that would be the earliest. They have also begun hiring.
Eskimo King in Swansea is expected to open at the beginning of April and is looking to hire.
Simcock Farms in Swansea has an opening date of May 27th.
