A Massachusetts woman’s love for one State Lottery game turned into a $1 million prize on a scratch ticket

One State Lottery game led a Massachusetts woman to a scratch ticket that resulted in life-changing money.

According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Randi Rivers is the winner of a $1 million prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s Keno $5 instant ticket game.

She chose the cash option on her prize and received a one-time payment of $650,000 (before taxes). Rivers loves playing Keno and said she was naturally drawn to the Keno scratch ticket.

She purchased her winning ticket at Highland Farms in Whitinsville. The store will receive a $10,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket.

Keno has two $1 million prizes remaining.
