A Massachusetts woman is “in the money” after hitting $1 million on State Lottery scratch ticket

The famous opening song from the film Gold Diggers of 1933, performed by Ginger Rogers, “We’re in the Money” is quite appropriate for a Massachusetts woman.

According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Cynthia Dalessandro of Milford is the winner of a $1 million prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “$4,000,000 In The Money” $10 instant ticket game.

She chose the cash option on her prize and received a one-time payment of $650,000 (before taxes).

She purchased her winning ticket at Winners Corner, 2303 Turnpike St. in North Andover. The store will receive a $10,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket.

$4,000,000 In The Money has two $4,000,000 and five $1,000,000 prizes remaining.
