A Fall River 2-year-old is in a fight for his life, his mother is looking for the community’s help
A brave 2-year-old from Fall River is facing adult-sized challenges with a smile.
According to those who know him, Tayten St. Martin was diagnosed with a rare genetic syndrome before birth called ‘Kabuki syndrome.’
The syndrome caused Tayten to be born with multiple abnormalities and has attacked some of his major vital organs, including his heart & kidneys.
Tayten has had 10 operations and over a dozen hospitalizations since birth.
Despite the hand life has dealt him, Tayten is a happy kid, according to his mother.
“He is always in the happiest of spirits. Tayten is so full of life and love. He hasn’t let any of his challenges stop him! Tayten enjoys singing (humming) his favorite tunes, dancing and playing everything like it’s a drum. Kabuki kids love music. This boy has a way of touching your soul, he’s truly an angel on earth. He loves being affectionate, he smiles from ear to ear when others give hugs or kisses in front of him. He waves “hi” to everyone, and he always wears a little dimpled smile on his face. Tayten is the light in a dark world. We want to protect him and keep that light burning bright for as long as possible.”
This strong boy in a tiny frame needs a kidney transplant which led Tayten’s mother to create a Spot Fund fundraiser.
You can also buy a ticket to win Tayten’s $255 money tree. Tickets are only $10 to try and win the tree. $20 will get you 3 tickets. They will also do a 2nd drawing for a 2nd chance to win a $50 Visa gift card. Tayten will pick the tickets on January 1st. Email at SaintFamilyFund@gmail.com to buy tickets or for more information.
