A certain scratch ticket that caught a Massachusetts man’s eye results in $1 million State Lottery win.
Players have all kinds of reasons for selecting which scratch ticket they will play. A Massachusetts man’s theory proved lucrative.
According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Facundo Cuello of Winthrop is the winner of a $1 million prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “$10,000,000 Bonanza” $20 instant ticket game.
He chose the cash option on his prize and received a one-time payment of $650,000 (before taxes). Cuello plans on investing with his winnings.
He picked the ticket because he liked the color.
He purchased his winning ticket at Energy North, 2 Shirley St. in Winthrop. The store will receive a $10,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket.
