Fall River Police, Fire, and EMS respond to afternoon pedestrian collision with injuries

Fall River crews responded Tuesday afternoon to a crash involving a pedestrian.

According to scanner transmissions, just before 1:15 p.m., a call came into dispatch for a pedestrian collision at the corner of Fourth and Borden Streets.

Fall River Police, Fire, and EMS responded to the scene and located a female on the ground and injured.

The pedestrian was quickly transported to Rhode Island Hospital which has a trauma center.

The crash is under investigation with police looking for camera footage.
