Fall River native continues her successful musical journey, next up, star-studded Ozzy Osbourne tribute on Sunday’s MTV Video Music Awards
She may only be 27, but a Fall River native has had an incredible musical journey which continues on Sunday.
Gabriela Rae, previously known as Gabbie Rae, has been performing since the age of 7. If you have seen her perform, you know she can belt it with the best of them and has a stage presence beyond her years.
In her younger years she headlined national and international venues and also supported artists such as Vince Neil, Queensrÿche, Sebastian Bach, Extreme, Dokken, Europe, and Stryper while being a part of the California music scene.
She has released her own pop/rock music showcasing her incredible pipes and has even performed on the Monsters of Rock Cruise multiple times.
These days you can find her as a lead vocalist touring with the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, singing at her new home in Nashville with the Twelve-Thirty Club, or opening for Extreme in New Hampshire and Connecticut which took place at the end of August.
Despite her impressive career, possibly her biggest moment is coming Sunday night.
Rae shared Friday that she will be joining Steven Tyler, Joe Perry, Yungblud & mentor Nuno Bettencourt to honor the one and only Ozzy Osborne at the MTV VMAs.
“I’ll be putting my heart and soul into them BGVs all in the name of honoring the legacy that is and will forever be…the Prince of Darkness. Airing live on CBS this Sunday night! Don’t miss it!”
I agree that you shouldn’t miss it.
If you want to catch the special tribute, the award show begins at 8:00 p.m.
If you want to listen to those pipes that I mentioned, you can check out her YouTube channel here.
