Crashes, breaking and entering calls continue to decrease, medical calls, arrests, continue increase for Fall River Police Department
According to Fall River Police, the department saw a decrease, but still a high number of calls for service in August.
FRPD saw a total of 4,141 calls in August (average 134 a day) compared to 4,303 calls in July (average 139 per day).
Breaking and entering calls have decreased for two straight months (June 90, July 83, August 72).
Crashes have also decreased for two consecutive months (June 365, July 345, August 315)
Medical calls increased for the second straight month (June 173, July 181, August 265)
Arrests were higher again last month (June 290, July 307, August 369)
Domestic calls remained around 250 for the last three month.
