Fall River City Council adds additional resolution concerning mayor to tonight’s meeting
Due to an objection by Fall River City Councilor Steve Camara at last Tuesday’s special meeting, the City Council adjourned until today where a no confidence vote of Mayor Jasiel Correia is scheduled. With Councilor Viveiros not scheduled to attend tonight’s meeting however, the vote could be delayed.
There has also been a change to the proceedings for the meeting in Council Chambers at Government Center.
An Amendment has been made to the agenda for tonight’s Fall River City Council meeting. A resolution has been added calling on Mayor Jasiel Correia to submit information concerning his use of a city vehicle. The information includes the driving log, how the vehicle was used on the morning of the mayor’s arrest, a list of people who have driven the vehicle, and who has added fuel to the vehicle.
Fall River Reporter will be airing a live interview with Steve Camara at approximately 4:50 p.m. before we cover tonight’s City Council meeting.
