A teenager from the Scholarship City will soon be on the international stage.

18-year-old Diman graduate Aidan Lambert is set to represent Fall River and the country again in 2025.

Lambert is an accomplished amateur kickboxer who trains at Gillett’s Mixed Martial Arts in Tiverton.

Building on his success from 2024—when he won gold at the USA National Championships as a 17-year-old and competed for Team USA at the WAKO World Championships in Budapest, Hungary—he continues to excel in 2025.

This year, he secured another gold medal at the US Nationals, qualifying him to represent Massachusetts and the United States again at the international level in Abu Dhabi in November. He will also compete in Canada at the WAKO Kickboxing World Championships in September.

On Monday, Lambert was even recognized by U.S. Rep. for Massachusetts, Jake Auchincloss and State Senator Michael Rodrigues.

By all accounts, Lambert is not only talented, but a good kid and a hard worker.

Fall River natives and residents have recently been making a name for themselves in the fight game such as Yorgan DeCastro, Tecia (Torres) Pennington, Mitch Raposo, and Connor Matthews. With Lambert’s continued national success, he has earned the right to be included in this group.
