Fall River soccer club takes home New England Premier Division title and a trip to the nationals

A Fall River soccer team is on the move after securing a big win this weekend.

Fall River FC faced off Saturday evening against Brockton FC United at Harry Della Russo Stadium in Revere for the New England UPSL Premier Division title and a trip to the nationals.

With a goal in the 68th minute by Valdir Silva (assisted by Claudio Soares) a score in the 89th minute by Geordanio Andrade (assisted by Matt Vidal) and another goal in the 90th+2 minute by Valdir Silva (assisted by Geordanio Andrade) Fall River FC secured the 3-1 victory.

The club was also led by coaching staff Kevin Estrela, Paulo Chuva and Pedro Miranda.

To begin the UPSL Nationals, Fall River FC will be hosting the round of 32 next Saturday at Portsmouth High School at 5:30 p.m. They will take on the winner of NY Renegades FC versus New York Braveheart SC which is taking place this evening at SUSA Orlin & Cohen Sports Complex in Central Islip, NY.
