UPDATE: Fall River City Councilor Ricky Tith explains driving offense charges, police report obtained

A Fall River city councilor has been charged with driving offenses after an incident earlier this year.

Swansea Police filed a criminal complaint Friday against Ricky Tith charging him with Operating a Motor Vehicle with License Suspended and Speeding from an incident in March.

Fall River Reporter contacted Tith about the charges.

“Unnoticed tickets were on my record due to a family member using my vehicle, but I have resolved the matter and my license is active.”

Tith is currently scheduled to be arraigned on the charges on August 5th.
