Southcoast Health announces new providers in Fall River, New Bedford, Fairhaven

FAIRHAVEN, FALL RIVER and NEW BEDFORD, Mass. Southcoast Health is pleased to announce that the not-for-profit community health system welcomed two new providers this month. They are joining the critical care/pulmonary medicine and primary care specialties.

Nicole Rico, FNP-C | Internal Medicine1565 North Main Street, Fall River, MA

Nicole Rico, FNP-C earned her Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Simmons University in Boston, Massachusetts. She now joins Southcoast Health Internal Medicine in Fall River.

Omar Shweish, MD | Critical Care / Pulmonary Medicine208 Mill Road, Fairhaven, MA

101 Page Street, New Bedford, MA

Omar Shweish, MD earned his Doctor of Medicine from Istanbul University, Cerrahpsa Faculty of Medicine in Istanbul, Turkey. He now joins Southcoast Health Pulmonology in Fairhaven, while also caring for patients at St. Luke’s Hospital.
