Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall in Fall River schedules fun free admission bike, car show
A new fundraiser has been scheduled as the process of placing a Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall in Fall River continues to move forward.
The Wall, to be located at Veterans Memorial Bicentennial Park (1082 Davol Street), will be an 80% scale size replica of the original Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall in Washington, D.C.
The wall will measure approximately 360’ by 8’ and be displayed alongside the WW II Memorial and the Korean and Gold Star Memorials located at the park. This project is expected to open in 2020 as fund raising efforts have begun.
To proceed the “Men Can Cook” fundraiser, a new fundraiser has been scheduled for this Sunday, September 9th. A Car and Bike show will be held at Bristol Community College. Registration is from 8:30 – 11:30 am. Show hours are from 9am – 2pm. 100 percent of the profits will be going to the wall.
