Three detained after victim suffering from injuries due to shooting at Fairhaven feast
FAIRHAVEN — Lt. Kevin Kobza reports that the Fairhaven Police Department is investigating a shooting that took place Sunday night.
At about 9:20 p.m., Fairhaven Police received a report of a shooting near the intersection of Main Street and Harding Road near the Our Lady of Angels Feast. Upon arrival, police found one victim, who had suffered a gunshot wound. The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to St. Luke’s Hospital in New Bedford.
Fairhaven Police have detained three people in connection with the investigation. State Police attached to the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office are also participating in the investigation.
