Vote of ‘no confidence’ by union being taken on Fall River Police Chief Paul Gauvin
Trusted sources within the Fall River Police Department tell Fall River Reporter that a vote of no confidence for Fall River Police Chief Paul Gauvin is currently underway. The vote is being facilitated by the Fall River Police Association and it’s patrolman members.
The vote comes on the heels of the recent news that Fall River Police Captain Gil Costa has filed a lawsuit against Gauvin and the city for allegedly retaliating against him for internal affairs investigations that he says led him to be passed over for promotions.
This is a developing story.
