Different kind of eatery opens its doors in Swansea; here is what to expect

Published

A unique eatery has opened in the Fall River area.

One Horse Pizzeria & Saloon at 1635 G.A.R. Highway (Route 6) in Swansea closed just over a year ago and an establishment is now taking its place.

The Jitterbug Cafe opened Friday, according to a social media post by owner Linda Gorman Farias.

The cafe serves breakfast and lunch (eventually dinners), but that is not all.

Farias states that she is also giving local artists and crafters a place to sell their creations. Spaces rent from $10-$60 per week depending on the size of the space.

Hours of operation are Monday through Friday 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Saturday 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Sunday 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

The space currently features artisan-created goods for sale, art prints featuring Swansea, Fur, Fins, Feathers mugs, and tasty treats -including gluten free options.

If you are an artist and would like to reserve a spot or have other questions, contact Linda at 1-774-888-9712.

    “THINKING”

Wishing the Best in this AWFUL ‘Biden/Harris Economy’, hopefully some “Blue Plate Specials”, Shepherds Pie, Baked Macaroni, & Pasta. Similar during the Pres. Carter years, and the ‘Great Depression’.

A lot of ‘Chain Restaurants’, and ‘Fast Food’ places closing locations.

Pres. Carter years for those who remember?

Would be nice to discuss the menu a tad more in depth. The entire focus of the article is the artist space.. well that certainly isn’t going to get me in the door.

  3. How about this?

    Can’t wait to stop by!
